AAA Awards

Once again the City of South Euclid Police Department has been recognized as a leader in traffic safety receiving the AAA Community Traffic Safety Platinum Award. This is the highest honor awarded and South Euclid was just one of twelve communities in northeast Ohio to receive the honor. In many ways South Euclid is at the forefront when it comes to safety, more specifically our ban on hand held communication devices while driving. AAA recently announced its support to ban texting while driving on a State wide level. Much of this would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the members of the South Euclid Police Department for which I am grateful to work with.

The Lyceum School to Open at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish

Dale Edberg, who has Multiple Sclerosis, recently was featured as part of the film, "We Keep Moving," a project of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Dale was included in a segment of online stories chronicling the lives of people across the country struggling with the disease. More important, Dales has become an MS researcher at the Cleveland Clinic. The video can be seen at wekeepmoving.org.
