Community Shred Days
We are having two community shred it days this year:
Saturday, May 19th 9am - 12 pm Saturday, October 20th 9am - 12 pm
Back of the City Hall parking lot - 3 box maximum per resident
A sincere THANK YOU to residents, employees and supporters of South Euclid community efforts!!! This was a great year for the Community Center’s Annual Holiday Food Drive! A donation of 1945 pounds of non perishable food and $450.00 in financial contributions was accepted at The Cleveland Foodbank today. The Parkside Ammon Civic Association and the South Euclid Fire Department in cooperation with GFS made huge contributions this year and deserve a special ‘shout out’. The cash donation alone will provide over 1800 nutritious meals benefiting children and families in need in Northeast Ohio. Your thoughtfulness and consideration of others during this holiday food drive really exemplifies the true spirit of South Euclid. Our service department staff said the Foodbank employees were excited, very grateful and surprised by the donation delivered today. School Supplies Needed
All through the month of July, Love Cleveland is collecting BACKPACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES for needy children in the South Euclid/Lyndhurst School District. Many of our local students cannot afford even the most basic of school supplies, but with your help we can change that! Donations may be dropped of in the red box located in the lobby of the South Euclid Community Center.
The school supplies needed are: Backpacks Safety scissors 24 count crayons Pencils Pocket folders Pens Glue sticks Many thanks for your consideration, continued support of your neighbors in need and concern for your fellow residents. What seems of little difference to you makes a huge difference in the life of another.
Tri-City Volunteering
Hello everyone!
The Tri-City Consortium and your older neighbors in South Euclid, Lyndhurst, Highland Heights, and Mayfield Heights in are in need of your help. Please consider volunteering a small amount of your time this winter to help an older adult with light snow shoveling (steps and walkways only) after major snowstorms and/or trashcan assistance.
