Energy Incentive Programs

The first two programs pay for professional energy audits to be conducted at your facilities.

A. COSE Small Business Energy Efficiency Program: www.smallbizenergysaver.org

This program pays up to $500 for a professional energy audit for any business which spends less than $150,000 in annual energy costs. You do not need to be a member of COSE to apply for this Program. Currently, there is no funding available to pay for improvements the audit suggests, but this may change. The Program runs through December 15th.

B. Ohio Energy Office Energy Efficiency for Manufacturers Program: www.development.ohio.gov/Energy/Efficiency/Industrial/Manufacturers.htm

This is a three-part program beginning with an on-line energy audit with 100% of the cost funded by the State Energy Office. Part II consists of a physical energy audit, of which the State will fund 50% of the cost of, up to $15,000. Part III is then actually implementing the improvements suggested in the audit, the funding for this part has yet to be determined. This program is targeted to companies which spend over $150,000 in annual energy costs, and is especially for those which spend over $350,000 annually.
