The Greatness
of a Nation and its moral progress can be

Animals contribute great joy and
beauty to our world, yet many of these wonderful creatures are
dependent on humans for their continued well-being. To care for
these animals in our local community, South Euclid Humane
Society was founded in March. 2000.
The South Euclid Humane Society is a
not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated ,
to finding homes and providing the proper care of homeless,
abandoned, injured and sick animals.
We recognize the value of each animal's life, and therefore will
not euthanize any animal unless determined by a veterinarian to
be the most merciful treatment.
Our Mission:
To prevent homeless pets in South Euclid and surrounding
communities through spay/neuter, education and adoption.
What We Do:
The volunteers of the South Euclid
Humane Society are committed to finding the most
suitable match for available pets with prospective owners. We
require every adoptive pet owner to sign our adoption agreement
promising the best possible care of the animal and the return of
the animal to South Euclid Society should problems occur after
adoption. The adopted animals are spayed/neutered prior to
adoption unless the animals are too young.
Animals availab1e for adoption can be met at Pet Supplies Plus
the first and third
Sunday of each month from 12:30pm - 5pm at the Lyndhurst
location on Mayfield Road. If you are interested in adapting a
cat, dog.or bunny, please visit us and meet these wonderful
animals. Please support our friends at Pet Supplies Plus and
thank them for helping their local community.
We also encourage residents to join
our foster care program and offer temporary homes to homeless
animals until forever homes can be found. If you are interested
in
fostering an animal, please contact us. We pay all medical
expenses and provide food and litter. Initial immunizations are
given to our fostered dogs and cats.
Funding & Community Events:
Donations are requested from each adoptive pet owner to help
defray our costs during the adoption process.
Annual Membership Dues from volunteer members who support our
mission.
All donations are appreciated. We accept cash donations as well
as pet food and supplies.

Our Lives Dedication in December
Cuyahoga County
has a serious problem - an overpopulation of pets. Did you know
that during a few hours in the United States, 415 humans will be
born, and as many as 10,000 dogs and cats. As you can see by the
numbers, there will never be enough homes for all of these
animals.
With the
proceeds from direct donations & fundraisers we organize
spay/neuter programs for pets of South Euclid residents. In
addition, the South Euclid Humane Society's volunteers spend
time controlling the feral cat population using a strategy of
trap, neuter, release.
The South
Euclid Humane Society is always looking for volunteers. Please,
if you love and care about animals, consider donating some of
your time and love for those animals less fortunate than your
own.

Thank you for your
support, and PLEASE have your pets spayed or neutered.
