Welcome to South Euclid!

It is my honor to serve as Mayor during this time of growth and opportunity in our community.

As you explore our website, you will see South Euclid is truly a city on the move.

South Euclid is an inclusive community, with inviting, walkable neighborhoods and architecturally diverse housing options to fit every lifestyle and budget.  We are also transit-friendly and just minutes from University Circle, Downtown Cleveland, and the I-271 Corridor.

These amenities have allowed our community to undergo a transformation.

Over the past few years, our residents have banded together to create a dog park, build a fully accessible playground, and interact with their neighbors in our new community gardens.

South Euclid is committed to sustainability. We built the first urban marsh in Northeast Ohio. We also created the award-winning, grant funded, Green Neighborhoods Initiative to enhance our housing stock with cutting edge green rehabilitation projects and the creation of community gardens and parks.

Much of South Euclid’s current growth is attributed to the expansion of our largest employer, Notre Dame College. Notre Dame is one of the fastest growing colleges in America and is a critical asset to our community.

South Euclid is business-friendly!  We offer affordable retail and office space. Join University Suburban Health Center, Aerocontrolex, Sanctuary on Green, and many other great businesses in calling South Euclid home.

New developments are also transforming South Euclid into a retail and restaurant destination. Oakwood Commons is currently under construction and will feature the first LEED Certified retail/restaurant shopping complex in Ohio. Construction continues at Cedar Center, as a variety of national retailers and restaurants open for business.

Our community is proud of our parks, swimming pools, and splash park. In the heart of our community, Cleveland Metroparks Euclid Creek Reservation offers a quiet resting place. This year will also see the addition of Oakwood Green, a 21-acre passive park near the Oakwood Commons Shopping Center. The addition of Oakwood Green brings our total public parkland to almost 60 acres!

After exploring our website, I sincerely hope you will pay South Euclid a visit and experience our friendly community for yourself!
