 Mayor Welo performs weddings at City Hall and at sites throughout Cuyahoga County. At least one of the engaged couple must be a South Euclid Resident, and provide proof of residency before the ceremony. Either a driver's license or utility bill is acceptable. The Mayor performs weddings at City Hall as her schedule permits, Monday through Friday. Off-site weddings are by appointment only. Please contact the Mayor's Executive Assistant, Lee Williams, at (216) 381-0400 or lwilliams@seuclid.com, to schedule a wedding date. When you arrive for your ceremony, please have your Cuyahoga County marriage license. This license is obtained through Cuyahoga County Probate Court which can be reached by calling 216-443-8920. There is a $10 fee for the ceremony which the Mayor donates to the Heights Emergency Food Bank at the end of every year. On your wedding date, you are welcome to bring guests, but please let us know how many you expect so we can hold the wedding in a room of appropriate size. Weddings can also be performed in the City Hall Courtyard during nice weasther or in the Mayor's Office for small ceremonies.
