From The Desk of Mayor Welo:
 |
Welcome to South Euclid!
As Mayor of this great community, I encourage you to explore
our website to see all our City has to offer. Whether you
are someone considering moving here, or a long-time
resident, the website is a great way to find out more about
your community. Please also take the time to watch our
Community Video to learn more about what makes South Euclid
such a great place to live. As you take this virtual tour of
our city, remember it cannot replace a real tour of our
community. This website does not allow you to talk to
residents who have found South Euclid conducive to starting
a family or a business.
Because of our unique location, we are a bridge between the
Heights and Hillcrest communities, reflecting charateristics
of each. We also are a convenient bridge to the diversity of
University Circle and the varied activities of Downtown
Cleveland.
Our family-oriented community of well-established,
well-maintained single-family homes has been augmented
recently by new housing appealing to all tastes, and all
budgets.
Our community is proud of our municipal parks and their
swimming pools. And, in the heart of our community, a
metropolitan park offers quiet respite from the cares of the
everyday world.
Our residents are proud of their community. They show their
pride by participating in, or attending, our annual Memorial
Day parade.
I'm proud to say I'm Mayor of this City. I'd like you to
also take pride in South Euclid - a great place to live,
work and play. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you
would like to chat and find out more about our great City.
