Playground of Possibilities Re-Grand Opening Photos 8-13-11
Hello all!
The Playground of Possibilities is now open for all to enjoy. Thanks so much for your patience, time volunteering, help and understanding as we waded through the insurance process and waited out bouts of bad weather. It was TOTALLY worth it---you all are going to love the new playground!
Thanks so much—
Meg Martines Director, South Euclid Community Center 1370 Victory Dr. South Euclid, Ohio 44121

Hello everybody!!
I finally have information for you concerning the rebuilding of the Playground of Possibilities!!! Thank you so much for your patience. Understandably, this time will be a bit different but will again led by Leathers Associates and we will need volunteers to work alongside contractors. We are especially in need of skilled volunteers. A skilled volunteer is someone comfortable handling a power saw.
The build will begin on Wednesday, June 1 and run through Sunday, June 12. We will NOT be working on Monday, June 6—that will be a day off to rest and recharge. We need the project completed within two weeks.
Please let me know asap if you are available to help out. Let me know the date and time you will be able to work. If you can’t work a specific shift, let me know what you are able to work.
I (or another volunteer) will be contacting everyone by phone that we have numbers for--
Shifts will be 7am-11am, 11a-2p and 2p-6pm. We will work later into the evening, weather permitting.
Unfortunately and regrettably we will NOT be able to provide meals as we did with the original build. We welcome any type of snack food donations (protein bars, granola bars, individual bags of chips/crackers, fruit, pop tarts etc.) and bottled water/Gatorade/soda. Should you have any questions regarding food donations please don’t hesitate to contact me. Food donations may be dropped off at the South Euclid Community Center (right behind Giant Eagle).
Please pass the word to your friends, family and colleagues.
I’m hoping you are able to participate!! Keep your fingers crossed, say a prayer and wish on star that we have great weather!! Looking very much forward to working with you all again—
Sincerely, Meg Martines Director, South Euclid Community Center 1370 Victory Dr. South Euclid, Ohio 44121 216-291-3129 P 216-381-0793 F Donate to the Playground of Possibilities Link to Our Store If you haven’t donated one already, don’t worry, there are still many Playground of Possibility fence pickets available for engraving! They make wonderful commemorations of individuals, families, weddings, first communions, births, baptisms, graduations etc. all while supporting a great playground and cause.
The first picket you donate is $30 with any thereafter at $25 each. Inscribe your name, a family or pet’s name or a brief phrase. A maximum of 17 characters including letters, numbers, spaces and punctuation, can be inscribed on a picket. Your donation makes a wonderful and lasting gift-- not only to or for a loved one, but a permanent and positive contribution to the Playground of Possibilities. Please help meet our goal of having every single picket engraved by the end of this summer.
An order form is attached for your convenience. Please print, complete and return to the South Euclid Community Center along with your payment (check or money order…cash payments should be made in person, please).
Thanks so much for your consideration
