RECYCLE TELEVISIONS AT BEST BUY STORES

Television recycling is not a free service in Cuyahoga County.  While there is no ban in Ohio on placing televisions and electronics in the regular trash, there are retailers and local companies that offer recycling services for these items.  A fee is usually charged for this service.  Best Buy stores will recycle your old television (up to 32”) for a $10 fee.  In exchange, you receive a $10 Best Buy gift card.  For more information, log onto www.bestbuy.com/recycling

Recycling kiosks

Every Best Buy store has a free kiosk, just inside the door, for you to drop off inkjet cartridges, rechargeable batteries, cell phones, CDs/DVDs, PDAs, smartphones and Best Buy gift cards.

Shred-It has a community event at their office the first Saturday of each month for anyone.  The cost is $4.00 per box or bag of records brought in.  They are located at 5480 Cloverleaf Parkway, Suite 7, Valley View, Ohio 44125.

We are proud to live in one of the few cities in the Cleveland area to have an active, dedicated, volunteer Recycling Committee.

Recycling programs vary from city to city!
They also change based on materials supply and demand.

This information for South Euclid is as current as we are able to know and make it...but sometimes things slip between the cracks. If there are confusions, we invite you to contact us so we can try to correct them!

For example...

as of Spring 2011
, South Euclid's curbside recycling REALLY DOES NOT include: Styrofoam, Plastic Bags. It DOES, however, include many other items, collected each week from the tree lawns of houses and apartment complexes. NEW: Corrugated Cardboard is collected if broken down and tied in bundles no larger than 4 feet X 4 feet.

We invite you to learn more about our city’s recycling program and join the effort to reduce landfill waste, protect and improve our community, and reduce our city’s service expenses.
