Who, What, When to Recycle?

WHO CAN RECYCLE?
We encourage all South Euclid residents (actually, everyone!) to recycle.  South Euclid is one of the few area communities to not only have recycling pickups for houses, but also for multi-dwelling units, with more "going green" initiatives on the way.

Collection happens automatically as long as you follow the city's Simple Guidelines for Recycling.

WHAT TO RECYCLE?

Curbside-friendly items currently include:

  • Metal, rigid plastics #1 through #7, and glass containers

  • Newspapers

  • Most other types of paper (junk mail, magazines, phone books, office mix)

  • SINGLE-LAYER cardboard (NOT CORRUGATED!)

To keep our recycling efforts successful, please follow the Simple Guidelines for Recycling.

WHEN TO RECYCLE?

  • Curbside recycling occurs every week, on the same day as your regular rubbish collection

  • If rubbish collection is delayed by a holiday, so is recycling pick-up.

  • South Euclid's dedicated recycling vehicle picks up your recycling separately from your rubbish.

  • By end of pickup day, everything should be gone.

Recycle delay holidays observed:

            New Year's Day
            Memorial Day
            4th of July
            Labor Day
            Thanksgiving Day
            Christmas Day
