History of South Euclid
The following presentations were given to an audience at the Notre Dame College Library in November 2014.
The first presentation is a talk on the geological features of the region, featuring published author and Euclid Creek historian, Dr. Roy Larick.
The second presentation features the history of ancient Native American cultures in Northeast Ohio, specifically in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst area. This talk was delivered by resident and Treasurer of the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Historical Society, Jay Haarburger. The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Historical Society has completed an “Images of America” Book on the History of South Euclid. This book provides a photographic history of South Euclid and was written by Bob McKimm and Frank Sillag, are looking for any photos or stories which Residents believe play a significant role in the History of South Euclid.
