On Friday, April 28th, the City hosted its annual Arbor Day Event, presented by the South Euclid Tree Commission. This year, the event took place in the Bexley Park Memorial Grove, where a White Redbud Tree was planted in memory of residents Rochelle “Rocki” Cygan and Jack Jozan. Mayor Welo and Council President Goodman joined with the Cygan and Jozan families to remember and celebrate the lives of these two great residents. The Arbor Day Celebration is held annually in South Euclid, as our community has been designated a “Tree City USA” for 21 straight years.
