Although part of the Centennial Celebration, the GardenWalk will take place on Saturday, July 22nd and Sunday 23rd from 12pm to 4pm and will be an annual legacy to the celebration. Fashioned after the original model, GardenWalk Buffalo which was founded in (1995) and the GardenWalk Cleveland (2011), the main purpose is to encourage beautification by rejuvenating streets and re-energizing neighborhoods. Nurturing community spirit, and encouraging civic pride throughout the city of South Euclid can also result in increased property values.

Unlike the traditional “garden tour“, this “free, self-guided tour” will showcase the unique lifestyle of our community. Whether you’ve just installed a pond or planted a flower or vegetable garden why not share it?

You decide what part of your garden will be on the walk: back, front, side or the entire garden. So it doesn’t matter if you have a new or mature garden, large or small, simple or extravagant.  All styles and types of gardens are welcome. Why not share your ideas, flair or unique style?

Visitors will be walking, biking or driving along the garden walk route and will be spending the day in our welcoming community. So why not ask your neighbors to open their gardens. The more the merrier!

If interested in opening your garden, volunteering or have questions, please email your contact information to gardenwalk@seuclid.com. The deadline for placing your garden on the tour is April 30th so the earlier the better. Come one, come all, the GardenWalk South Euclid is open to all residents. Come be a part of history in this Centennial Celebration!!!!!!
